Wanna use this verse to encourage some of my friends. Recently i'm quite troubled by my friends, i dont know what happen, but out of sudden, some of them said wanna change church, some jus keep complaining that "as long as God loves them can already, they dont need love and understanding from others" My soul is really deeply troubled that i've been thinking for the whole day how to explain to them God really loves them. It's for His love that He put those ppl arounds us to bless us, and He put us in this chuch for a purpose. . .

I jus wan to say that when we have the thinking of changing church, we're actually finding a way to customize God. Can u see the issue here? Should we find a church that we think it suits us better, in which we enjoy the setting and the ppl there, or commiting ourself to the church God has placed us, and use our talent to bless the church? The issue is self-centeredness. When we try to find a better church, we're putting ourself first, but when we choose to commit, we're putting God first. I used to struggle in this area b4, and one day Leanne asked me why i choose to stay? i said if we keep finding a church to suit ourself, i think we can never find a better one unless we learnt to appreciate the current church we're serving. Or else, we will always look at the flaws of the church and neglected the blessings we received from the ppl..that's why i choose to commit to Hope Church, cos i cant deny that the ppl here are really genuinely care for each others, which i think it's one of the strong point of Hope.

Then jus now when having QT, this verse come to me " See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many." (heb12:15).

It speaks to me so strongly about the friends who always said "God understands them can already, although others dont understand them".Bcos this sentense clearly reflect that they're bearing bitterness towards the ppl around. They jus keep complaining that the ppl around them dont understand them. But i jus wan to say that we're not called to receive but to give to others. They're simply putting expectation on ppl and when the ppl failed to do so, they bare bitterness. Hopefully my dear friends understand that when they do not hold expectation but learn to giv according to God's love for them, they are able to receive what God has planned for them. As this verse say so: God is gracious, and He would not wan us to bare bitterness to ourselves.
