Today i jus finished reading tis book: Jesus on Leadership. A good book that emphasis the leadership based on Jesus model. I would say that i appreciate this book for the clear explaination of how Jesus shall be the perfect leader for us to look upon in our leadership in life, be it in ministry, school work, or even family. In this book, for every principle that the author mentioned, he further explains it with parables and events took place in the New Testament, no doubt, its a worth-reading inspiring book for us to leant the leadership style od Jesus.

Here, i would like to share something i learnt from this book. i've learnt about this S.E.R.V.E profile, to equipped ourself to serve God thoroughly by developing Spiritual gift, Experience, Relational style, Vocational style and Enthusiasm in serving. Each element plays an important part. Spiritual gift is the special gift from God, every Christ follower obtains a special one, uniquely given by God. Throughout these year in Hope, i've foundout that i have this gift of love. I didnt know i had such a spiritual gift untill Peter throung prophesy for me. I'm truely glad that God had gave me such a gift, and i know that for any gift we received from God, we should fully maximize it, cos God gave it to us to maximize His kingdom. We shall exercise this gift whenever there's chance, so that we can truely live according to what He has created us for.

As for experience, God had made everything that happen in our life for a reason. Every experience we had could be a learning process to grow more like Jesus as long as we allow God to be the center in every situation. Of course there would still be situtions that we truely cant find God and never understand why it happens to us, but no matter what, it can never deny the fact that God is bigger than any problem. Since He has created us, He has the absolute authority over our life too...always hope and trust in God should always be the right attitude in us.

Relational Style is our growth in interacting with others. To serve God is to serve people, tere's no oneman show in God's kingdom, even when Jesus sent out the twelve, He sent them out two by two so that they can account and help each others. Therefore God wants us to grow in the fellowshipping with others too.

Vacational skill is another gift from God too. We're all being shaped for a purpose, therefore, He make us good in certain area that we could serve Him. This is the ministry we're in. What are the things you're good at? be it music, deco, technical....watever it is, certainly there will be a thing that you can serve God for and to embrace the ministry. We're not asked to be good at everything, but be focus and improve in our strenght, so that our gift can truely be maximized to the full.
